He is survived by: his close friends, Braham, Berry, Cobau, Balph, Nichols, Flannery and Clark; his wife Niki Mitsos; his son John; his daughter-in-law Nancy; his grandson Christopher of Yardley, PA; his daughter Jennifer Covey; his son-in-law Frank Michael Covey III; his grandchildren, Lexi Covey and Frank Michael Covey IV of Arlington Heights, IL; his sister-in-law Marie Smilek; and his sibling's children, Cynthia Oates, Elizabeth Gianakos and Dr. Dean Gianakos.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the St. George Greek Orthodox Church or to the American Diabetes Association.
