He was predeceased by : his parents, Joseph Porter and Frances Fisico Porter; and his siblings, John, Anthony, Albert, Charles Porter and Mary Maloni.

He is survived by : his daughters, Linda Porter and Cheryl Giorgi (Antonio); his stepchildren, Anthony L. Nocera, Jr., Barbara Bernardi and James Nocera; and his brother Joseph Porter. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
