She was predeceased by: her husband Louis Mele Jr. Born; her parents, Fred Damiano and Virginia Damiano (Bruni); and her siblings, Joseph Damiano, Philomena Gogal, Michelina Eremus and Josephine Oliveria.

She is survived by: her son Louis (Chris) of Drums, PA; her brothers, Anthony "Kiki" Damiano of Nesquehoning and Baptist Damiano (Rose) of Ocean View, DE; her grandchildren, Andrea Muchnik (Kirill), Samantha Loranger (John) and Louis Mele IV (Amanda Byrd); and her great grandchildren, Madilyn Muchnik, Bradley Muchnik and Sage Loranger.
