With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Isaac W Schrecengost of New Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 23, 2025 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel West Schrecengost and Mary Jane Vasbinder Schrecengost; his daughter Rhonda Schrecengost; his great grandchild Alex McGuire; and his siblings, Emerson, Golden, Samuel and Lilian Anthony.
He is survived by: his wife Norma J. Johnston; his daughter Linda Truitt (Les) of Distant; his grandsons, Mitch McGuire (Heidi), Martin McGuire (Jordan), Jason Truitt (Nici) and Steve Truitt (Hillary); his great grandchildren, Mason McGuire, Marissa McGuire, Anthony McGuire, Haylee Rose and Sophie Truitt; his son Randy Schrecengost (Kelly) of New Bethlehem; his grandchildren, Bridget Young (Chris), Randi Renee' Negendank (Kyle), Taylor Schrecengost, Nicholas Schrecengost (Marissa), Isaac, Abigail Young, Kyle Jr., Renley Negendank, Waylon and Kinley Schrecengost; his daughter Sheri Lynn Toy-Veronesi (Jeff) of Distant; his grandchildren, Brian Toy (Jay), Brody Toy (Sarah), Brooklynn Veronesi, Claire and Derek Toy; his son Kevin Schrecengost (Cindy) of Distant; his granddaughters, Kristin Brink and Ella Brink; and also Maddox Milliron.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. The military honors was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Distant Baptist Church (2238 Madison Rd, Distant, PA 16223).
