He is survived by: his children, Roger Eckard, Larry Eckard and Julie Porterfield; and his brother Albert Eckard. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the John Flynn Funeral Home & Crematory Inc. (2630 E State St, Hermitage, PA 16148). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 at 6:00 PM at the John Flynn Funeral Home Chapel - Hermitage. A burial was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Cedarview Memorial Park (1923 Fisher Rd, Strattanville, PA 16258).
