With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marty Jo King of New Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 31, 2025 at the age of 68. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Marty Jo King to pay them a last tribute.
Though Marty may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Marty touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Harriger and Doris M. Harriger (Bright); and her sister Patty L. Troup. She is survived by: her daughter Traci L. King (Tracy) of Leetonia; her granddaughter Emma Lockhart; and her brothers, Dennis Harriger of Pittsburgh and Terry Harriger (Luann) of New Bethlehem. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers (because Marty was allergic to them), the family suggests that memorial donations may be made to the VFW in New Bethlehem in Marty's memory, to help with the children's Christmas party which she took part in every Christmas.
