It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melvin Charles Blake of New Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 14, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Frank Blake and Mary Yount Blake; his wife Rochelle Galene Smtih of Miller's Hoagie Shop; and his sisters, Nila Minich, Lomia Wells and Clara Belle "Shorty" Downs.

He is survived by : his father-in-law Charles Wells; his son Ken Blake (Mandy) of New Bethlehem; his grandson Steven Blake (Jennifer); his children, Duncan, Trinity Blake, Emma, Avery Cravener and Suzette Gunter (Mark) of New Bethlehem; his grandchild Denelle Procious (Ryan); and his children, Abigail, Tenley, Gunner, Evelyn Procious, Toni Ryver (Nate), Paisley and Prudence Ryver.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Oakland Church of God (122 Kohlersburg Rd, Climax, PA 16223). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
