He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert E. Lightner and Eunice G. Lightner (Fogleman) of Elliottsburg; his son Seth Lightner; and his siblings, Alan Lightner and Cathy McMillen.
He is survived by: his daughters, Gina Rice (Sam) of New Bloomfield, Rachel Shields (Jeramie) of New Bloomfield, Michelle Smith of Dillsburg and Megan Cain (Brian) of Greer, SC; and his sisters, Melody Walborn of New Bloomfield and Dori Reisinger (Charlie) of Loysville.
