He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Smith Anderson and Anna Presley Anderson. He is survived by: his wife Kay Doughten Anderson; his children, Sally Ann Scruggs (Steven) of Perry Valley, Pennsylvania and Robert Scott Anderson (Lisa McLaughlin Anderson) of Ocean City, Maryland.; his grandchildren, Matthew Scruggs, Jamie Leigh Corbin, Justin Scruggs, Allison Spikes, Cassidy Anderson and Ryan Anderson; his great grandchildren, Liam, Josephine, Eliana Scruggs, Gus, Henry Corbin, Kenzie, Kaden and Sutton Spikes; and his siblings, James Anderson, Elsie Anderson, David Anderson and Carol Wyrick.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Snyder's United Methodist Church (1724 New Bloomfield Rd, New Bloomfield, PA 17068). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
