He was predeceased by: his mother Grace Irene McGill. He is survived by: his children, Tabetha Hawkins (Brett) of Liver Pool and Kyle Hawkins (Gabriella) of Carlisle; his grandsons, Cooper Shultz and Grant Hawkins; and his siblings, Steven Hawkins (Kim) of Carlisle and Barbara Wilson (Tony) of Shippensburg. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
