He was predeceased by: his parents, John Edward and Genevieve Kairis (Brzezenski); his wife Beverly Joyce "Bunny" Kairis (Petuch); his children, Laura Lee Kairis, John and Timothy Kairis; his daughter-in-law Robyn Trumbetic Kairis; and his sister Patricia Kairis Kondraki.
He is survived by: his sons, Brandan Kairis and Daniel Kairis (Brenda); his grandchildren, Rebecca McDaniel (Ryan), Patrick Kairis, Sheri Hendricks, Noah Kairis (Lexi), Taylor Kairis and Renee Faletto (Michael); and his siblings, Joann Kairis and Rich Kairis.
