He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence W. Gardom and Minnie E. Gardom (Pressler); his wife Janet W. Gardom; his grandson Travis Norman; and his brother Bill Gardom.
He is survived by: his children, John E. Gardom, Jr. (Michele) of Elizabeth, PA., Judy Schlemmer (Bob) of New Alexandria, PA. and Jacquelyn Barber (Jeff) of New Brighton; and his siblings-in-law, James Walls, Lori Herbe and Helen Gardom. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren.
