Shirley A. Guthrie Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 13, 2025, at the age of 90, Shirley A. Guthrie of New Brighton, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul H. Edwards and Hazel F. Edwards (McDade); her brother Paul H.'Skippy'Edwards Jr.; and her grandson Christopher Heinz. She is survived by: her husband Donald Guthrie; her daughters, Pam Heinz (Doug) and Lisa Guthrie; her stepsons, Mark (Rosemary) and Scott Guthrie; her grandchildren, Lucas Guthrie, Leslie Newlin (Ryan) and Brittany Heinz; and her great grandchildren, Alexis and Wyatt Newlin.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Westminster United Presbyterian Church (115 N Mercer Ave, New Brighton, PA 15066). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Memorial Fund at Westminster United Presbyterian Church, or, to your favorite charity, in Shirley's name.
