Walter E. Saiko Obituary
It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Walter E. Saiko of New Brighton, Pennsylvania, who passed away at the age of 98, on July 4, 2025. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Saiko and Andy Saiko; his wife Peggy; and his brothers, Andrew and Frank Saiko.
He is survived by: his son Walter; his daughter-in-law Tamela Saiko of Parkersburg, WV; his daughters, Theresa (Jim Jeffeaux) and Bernadette (Thomas Mattica); his grandchildren, Joseph, Alexis Albright, Kevin Saiko, Alton, Matthew Jeffeaux, Rachel Mattica and Alyssa Mattica (David Priebe); and his pet Mačka. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM and from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the J&j Spratt Funeral Home (1612 3rd Ave, New Brighton, PA 15066). A prayer was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Family Parish (521 7th Ave, New Brighton, PA 15066). The military honors was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Walt's name to the Twelve Loaves Soup Kitchen 1031 Second Ave., New Brighton, PA 15066, or the Beaver County Humane Society, 3394 Brodhead Road, Aliquippa, PA 15001.
