With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Alex H. Surek of New Castle, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 20, 2024 at the age of 63. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Alex leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Karl Otto and Melida Surek (Matiebe); and his brother Frank Schlothauer. He is survived by: his children, Katja V. Kulp (Richard) of Grove City and Main Brandt; and also Martina Werner. He is also survived by seven grandchildren.
