In the vast expanse of eternity, Barbara shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Barbara farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Gentsy, and Anne Gentsy, Sr. (Gudyk); her husband Daniel A. DePaolo, Jr.; her sisters, Carla Pezzone, Linda Gentsy and Andrea Bucci; and also Andy Gentsy, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, David A. DePaolo (Carol), Daniel A. DePaolo III (Cathy) and Tamara Ann Russick (Ed); and her sister Sandra Mraz. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. (941 S Mill St, New Castle, PA 16107). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Holy Spirit Parish (910 S Mercer St, New Castle, PA 16101).
