He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Carney and Mary Carney (Mooney); his spouse Leonarda M. Arcuri (Lou); his siblings, Gerald, Martin Carney, Josephine Esposito and Louise Nerti; and his daughter-in-law Mary Carney.
He is survived by: his sons, Carl, Daniel, Jr. and Michael Carney (Denise); his grandson Michael Carney (Kelly); his great grandchild Mara; and his stepgreat-grandson Colin. He is also survived by four step-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 13th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. (941 S Mill St, New Castle, PA 16107). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 13th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
