He is survived by: his wife Renee Werhnyak; his daughter Amber Nye (Brandon); and his siblings, Patricia Brown, Joanne Naylor, Mary Moore, Susanne Russo, Carol Kordish and Victor Laitinen. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
