He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Robinson and Anna Robinson (Collingwood); his daughter Deborah Hammerschmidt; and his brothers, William, Clair and R. Robert Robinson.
He is survived by: his wife Margie M. Robinson (Nicholson); his children, James R. Robinson Jr. (Gwen) of LaGrange, OH and Terri L. Riley (Russell) of New Castle; and his son-in-law Jeff Hammerschmidt of New Castle. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, and twenty-two great-grandchildren.
