He was predeceased by: his parents, James H. Buckner and Lillian Buckner (Andrews); his wife Barbara Buckner (Seltzer); his son Thomas J. Buckner; and his brothers, William J. Buckner and Frank A. Buckner.
He is survived by: his sons, John B. Buckner (Bethany) of New Castle and Carter Andrews Buckner (Joy) of New Castle. He is also survived by five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. (2429 Wilmington Rd, New Castle, PA 16105). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
