As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Joseph may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph A. Macri, Jr. and Esther Ponzi Macri; and his brother Louis Macri. He is survived by: his wife Loretta Sprout; his children, Amanda Wimer (Jeff), Jackie Pegnato (Frank) and Greg Fields (Alva); and his brothers, Michael J. Macri (Marcia) and Raymond F. Macri (Stacy). He is also survived by six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. (941 S Mill St, New Castle, PA 16107). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Holy Spirit Parish (910 S Mercer St, New Castle, PA 16101).
