He is survived by: his daughter Lori; his son-in-law John Ciallella of Findlay, OH; his son Larry; his daughter-in-law Sara Shaffer of Hill City, SD; his sisters, Shella (Robert Fry) and Carol (Curtis Wertz); his grandchildren, Mia Ciallella, Olivia and Henry Shaffer; and his former wife Irene Owens Smith.
