He was predeceased by: his parents, John McCurdy and Katherine McCurdy (Marthers); his wife Nancy J. Slater; and his brother John McCurdy. He is survived by: his children, Gary McCurdy, Steven McCurdy (Sherri), Stacy McCurdy (Scott) and Dawn Hooks; and his siblings, James McCurdy, Rose Tieche and Alice Stevanus. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, May 8th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the First Alliance Church (111 Mission Meade Dr, New Castle, PA 16105).
