It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Roberta Jean Forgue of New Castle, Pennsylvania, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on March 29, 2024, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, James C. Bates and Eddella M. Bates (Roberts); and her sister Elizabeth A. "Betty" Spring Peden. She is survived by : her significant other Mike Markle of New Castle; her children, Joshua Forgue (Julie) of Vernon Hills, Illinois and Stacy Williams (John) of Ringwood, Illinois; her grandchildren, Scarlet, Sophia and Kaia; and her siblings, Karen (Ed Kaack), Tonijo Bieber of Chandler, Jackie (Joe Loosa), Robert (Arlene Bates), Georgia, Kenneth (Cheryl Bates), James (Gretchen Bates) and Kathy MacArthur of Kankakee. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
