It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley C. McClain (New Castle, Pennsylvania), who passed away on April 11, 2026, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Dennis C. McClain; her parents, LeRoy "Slim" Miller and Shirley J. Miller (Shaffer); and her brother David Miller. She is survived by: her sons, Ted "TJ" McClain (Jennifer) of Youngstown, OH and Timothy McClain (Brooke) of New Castle, PA; her grandson Sawyer McClain of New Castle, PA.; her brother James "Jim" Miller (Dianne) of North Carolina; and her stepmother Carol Miller of Arizona.
The family wishes to extend a special and heartfelt thank you to the compassionate staff at St. Mary's Alzheimer's Center in Columbiana, Ohio, for their wonderful care and support for Shirley in her final days.
