He was predeceased by: his parents, Ethel Shellhamer (Snavely) and Francis Shellhamer; his wife Genevieve Shellhamer (Bruda); and his brother James H. Shellhamer. He is survived by: his children, Eric S. Shellhamer (Joanne), Scott U. Shellhamer (Gina), Monica L. Rodriguez (Rick) and James "Jim" Geary. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
