He is survived by: his wife Barbara Smith Pearce; his close friend William D. Smith; his sister-in-law Trudie Bronstein Smith; his nephews, Sam Smith and Coby Smith; his cousin Karen Pearce of California; his close friends, Christopher, Sue, Craig Donahue, Sandy, George Cartledge, Sheila Harman, Jim Nesbit, Pauline Olsson, Larry Swartz, Liz, Dave VanWye, Kim Snell-Zarcone and Tom Zarcone; and his in-laws, Elsie and Bill Smith.
He had great care for Alzheimer's and its complications, and for PTSD, from many angels at Messiah Lifeways and Homeland in recent months.
