He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert S. Kreitzer Sr. and Joanie Young Thomas; his stepparent Lynn Thomas; his son Albert "Butchie" Kreitzer, III; and his brothers, Adam and John Kreitzer.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Callihan Kreitzer; his children, Candace Kreitzer of New Eagle and Wayne Kreitzer of Charleroi; his grandchildren, Austin Blake, Nevaeh Kreitzer, Alexis and Siler Demar; and his sisters, Joanie Marshallik of Nanticoke, Wendy Skiro (George) of Mountain Top, Grace Brutko of Kingston and Doris Macynski (Mike) of Wilkes Barre. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
