He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence "Pete" Smith and Edna Grace McCurdy. He is survived by: his children, Sharon, Crystal McCurdy and Charles McCurdy, Jr.; his grandsons, Tyler McCurdy and Anthony Malachina; and his great grandchild Ava McCurdy.
