She was predeceased by: her parents, William Boring and Eva Boring (O'Leary); her husband Alfred E. Long; her siblings, Ralph, Othea, Sr., John, Dean Boring, Elizabeth Tompkins and Adeline Morrow; and her adoptive son Othea "Jackie" Boring, Jr..
She is survived by: her close friend Ronald "Peck" Gehring of New Florence; her adoptive daughters, Ilene Lee of Johnstown and Lethia Smith of Johnstown; and her niece Deborah Phillips of Johnstown.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 29th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Kenneth A Stuart Funeral Home (139 N Ligonier St, New Florence, PA 15944). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Fairfield Cemetery.
