It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nancy Bauman Sheffer (New Freedom, Pennsylvania), born in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 20, 2026, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid adieu to Nancy's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Nancy has bequeathed us. She was predeceased by: her husband Obed Sheffer; and her parents, George F. Bauman of Scranton, PA and Lillian Arnold of East Stroudsburg, PA. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Byron (Michelle), Cory (Ann), Derrick (Josh), Bradford (Jillian), Claire (Elena), Erika (Kyle) and Ryan (Corinne).
