Raye Engle Obituary
With sadness, we share the passing of Raye Engle of New Freedom, Pennsylvania. Raye, born on October 19, 1931, passed away on September 22, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Family, friends, and acquaintances remember Raye for her warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. While she will be deeply missed, the influence she had on the lives around her remains. Loved ones will reflect on the time spent together. Raye’s memory will live on in the hearts of friends and family, a lasting reminder of the connections and experiences she brought to the world.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph John and Eleanor Catharine Engle (Sweitzer); and her siblings, Marlene E. Bales, Janet S. Torbert, Dale R. Engle, George R. Engle and Donald F. Engle.
She is survived by: her siblings, John H. Engle and Wanda J. Lloyd (Wayne); and her friend Wellspan. She is also survived by 10 nieces & nephews, many great nieces & nephews, great – great nieces & nephews and numerous cousins.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Bethlehem Steltz Reformed Church (5890 Steltz Rd, Glen Rock, PA 17327).
