He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Josephine Kopelic (Abbate); his sons, Dennis Kopelic (Missy), David Kopelic (Sue) and Michael Kopelic (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Will Thornton, Bradley Thornton, Cassandra Kopelic, Jerald Kopelic, Santana Kopelic, Kristen Johnston, Dennis Kopelic, Jr., Mason Kopelic and Malia Carmichael; and his brother Timothy Kopelic. He was also cherished by many great-grandchildren.
