He is survived by: his wife Mary T. Painter; his stepchildren, Jerry Marleau (Christina) of New Braunfels, TX and Linda Zupan (Dewey) of Wilsall, MT.; his grandchildren, Brian, Megan and Michael; and his siblings, Narrie Herr of Maryland and Jesse Painter of Chester Co. He is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren, 15 nieces and nephews and 33 great-nieces and nephews.
