He is survived by: his wife Janet Gingerich Esh; his children, Christopher (Stacie) of Lancaster, Hannah Johnson (Nathan) of Lancaster, Evan (Nancy) of Rio Rancho, NM and Elliot of Lancaster; his grandchildren, Malachi, Vera, Elsie, Odessa and Reid; and his siblings, Michael (Mattie), Emma Lapp, Naomi King (Alvin), Jonathan (Linda), Sadie Stoltzfoos (Eli), Daniel (Naomi), Anna King (Ben), Reuben (Anna Mary), Rebecca Stoltzfus (Daniel), Elmer (Martha), Elizabeth Glick (Samuel) and Emanuel (Mary Ann).
A memorial service was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Petra Church (565 Airport Rd, New Holland, PA 17557).
