She was predeceased by: her parents, Elias B. Esbenshade and Kathryn Esbenshade (Kreider); and her granddaughter Daisha Garber. She is survived by: her husband Kenneth B. Garber; her children, Gerald Garber (Jewel), Jay Garber and Janice Weaver (Darryl); and her siblings, Kathryn Hershey (Clair) and Glenn Esbenshade (LeeAnn). She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren.
