We announce the death of John D. Peters of New Hope, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 28, 2026, at the age of 82. John will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Melnick and Mildred Peters (Rhodes). He is survived by: his wife Judith A. Peters (McCuen); his children, Patti A. Knoll (Jeffrey) and John C. Peters (Judylee); his sisters, Janyce Abato (Peters), Carol Peters and Ruth Peters; and his grandchildren, Samantha Smith, Stephanie Denlinger (Joel), Ashley Cassel (Michael), Shelby Vogel (Ronald), Gary Smith, David Arnott, John C. Peters Jr. and Elizabeth Peters.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Lighthouse Baptist Church (2622 Durham Rd, Buckingham, PA 18912). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 12:15 PM at the Doylestown Cemetery (215 E Court St, Doylestown, PA 18901).
