He was predeceased by : his parents, Ernest Rappe and Nancy Metzer Rappe. He is survived by : his children, Judi Rappe (John Davis) of Canonsburg and Edward Rappe (Jocelyn) of Canonsburg; his grandchildren, John, Rylie and Mason Davis; and his sister Janice Garrison (Bill) of Washington.

In lieu of flowers his family request memorial contributions can be made to SALANDRA FUNERAL and CREMATION SERVICES (see below) to defer funeral expenses for his children.
