He is survived by: his wife Michelle Semler (Beckwith); his son Joseph Kenneth Semler (Alexandra); and his sisters, Susan Dorohovich (Michael), Mary Jane Shoop (Darwin), Judith Sadecky (David), Linda Imm (Dave Bish) and Gayle Blandford (James). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
