She was predeceased by: her husband Charles A. Helwig; her parents, Charles Gladfelter and Rosa Gladfelter (Ecker); her siblings, Shirley Gladfelter, Charlotte Smith, Betty Hyde, Janet Brady and Charles Gladfelter, Jr.; and her half-sisters, Dot Hammond and Lana Miller.
She is survived by: her children, Joseph Helwig (Sandy) of Gettysburg, Stephen Helwig (Pat) of Hanover, Debra Flickinger (Terry) of Hanover and Sharon Crook (Brian) of Hanover; her grandchildren, Becky Helwig, Jason Helwig, Kevin Crook and Megan Fitzgerald (Cody); her great grandchildren, Skyler Staub, Grace Crook and Nathan Fitzgerald; her sisters, Patty Shaffer and Nancy Leese; her half-brothers, Jack Gladfelter and Robert Gladfelter; and her stepsister Vicky Roser. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
