He was predeceased by: his former wife Anna Mae Weikert (Goodhart); his parents, Miles K. Weikert and Alice M. Weikert (Hauk); his brothers, Millard Weikert (Pat) and Maynard Weikert (Pat); and his stepson Andy.
He is survived by: his wife Jean L. Leister Weikert (Baker); his stepchildren, Kathy Orewiler (Orrin), Chris Abrams, Heidi Haafke (Ron) and Dan Leister; and his nieces and nephews, Leslie Weikert, Carol Walk and Carla Miller (Scott). He is also survived by seven grandchildren and cousins.
