He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Xavier Rice and Arlene Utz Hollinger. He is survived by: his wife Jane Epley Rice; his children, Stacie Rice Lissette (Dylan) and Matthew Rice (Toni); his sisters, Andrea Rice and Sue Rice Falkenberg (Elka); his grandchildren, Max Lissette (Krissy), Payton Lissette Steinhart (Teddy), Alex Lissette (Katie), Caleb Lissette, Colin Lissette and Lily Rice; his great grandchild Xavier Lissette; his stepgrandchildren, Erica Kurrle (Matt), Chris Labolle and Jack Labolle; and his stepgreat-grandchild Mauer Johnson.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM and from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kenworthy Funeral Home (269 Frederick St, Hanover, PA 17331). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 at 1:00 PM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (5055 Grandview Rd, Hanover, PA 17331).
