He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Howard Simmonds and Sarah Elliott Simmonds. He is survived by: his wife Linda Schiller Simmonds of New Oxford, PA; his son Daniel Robert Simmonds of East Berlin, PA; and his sister Mary Simmonds Palmer (William Russell Palmer) of Elmira, NY. He is also survived by seven nieces and nephews, along with many cousins.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the All Saints Episcopal Church (890 McCosh St, Hanover, PA 17331). The military honors will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 at the same location.
