He was predeceased by: his parents, John P. Keefer and Bernice Keefer (Bicker); and his brother Kenneth Keefer. He is survived by: his wife Jan Keefer (Gehrke); his children, Brian Keefer (Kim) of Fairplay, MD, Erin Townsend of Dillsburg, PA and Adam Keefer (Kim) of Tega Cay, SC; and his grandchildren, Bryson Townsend, Kadence Townsend, Seneca Townsend, Caroline Keefer, Taelyn Townsend, Noah Keefer, Trey Keefer and Landon Keefer.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to St. James Lutheran Church, 109 York Street, Gettysburg, PA.
