He is survived by: his nephew Chad Shrodes (Amber); his great-niece Madelyn; his nephew Tim Shrodes (Christina); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Patrick, Alayna and Charlie; his fiancé Jewel Myers; his sisters, Dorothy S. Hiser and Doris S. Bunner; and his nephews, Chris Hiser and Kevin Bunner.
David was a member of Centre Presbyterian Church in New Park, Pennsylvania, where he took great pride in his family's contribution to its construction in the early 1800s.
