He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton N. Bailey and Mabel Bailey (Miller); his son Curtis D. Bailey; and his siblings, Helen Wertman, Rachel Evertt, Bertha Bennick, William, Herman, Robert, James and Clarence Bailey.

He is survived by: his significant other Dorothy K. Bailey (Bendrick); his children, Kevin A. Bailey (Karen) and Bonnie Steinbrunn; and his grandchildren, Kevin Bailey (Nicole), Kelly Sears (Jonathan), Matthew Bailey (Danelle), Jason Steinbrunn and Lauren Steinbrunn. He is also survived by 7 great grandchildren, Many nieces and nephews.
