He was predeceased by: his parents, David S. Richards and Mary Ann Richards (Locke); and his granddaughter Noelle Christine Richards. He is survived by: his wife Freda E. Glunt-Richards of New Stanton; his children, David J. Richards (Christine) of Jeannette and Cara C. Richards (George Chubboy) of Perryopolis; his grandchildren, Evan (Sarah), Steven (Gwen) and Hanna (Kaleb); his great grandchildren, Aidan, Viola, Charlotte, Annalise and Arden; and his brothers, David S. "Chickie" Richards Jr. (MaryAnn) of Levelgreen and Earl Lee Richards (Lorrie). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
