He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert C. Copenhaver and Lucretia A. Copenhaver (Ingram). He is survived by: his wife Clare Tajc Copenhaver; his children, Jay Copenhaver, Jr. (Elizabeth) and Jamie Copenhaver-Barber; his stepchildren, Nicole Holmes (Donald), Daniel Huygens (Ashley) and Michael Huygens; his grandchildren, Ryan, Alexander, Nolan, Mila, Gavin, Emilia and Kayden; his sister Brenda Worst (Dave); and his nephew Rob Titterington (Lauren).
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, June 26th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:15 AM at the Robert B. Ferguson Funeral Home (105 Spring St, Scottdale, PA 15683). A prayer will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 at 10:15 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Saint Bruno Roman Catholic Church (1715 Poplar St, Greensburg, PA 15601).
