He was predeceased by : his parents, Frank Dengler and Edna Dengler (Wanamaker); and his brothers, Clyde, Carl and Frank Dengler.

He is survived by : his wife Dolores F. Dengler (Scheffler); his children, Darlene (Hank Wise), Cindy Dengler, Diane (Tom Zeiser), Tom Dengler (Bev) and Dawn (Dean Remaley); his grandchildren, Tom, Amy Zeiser, Christi Dengler and Cody Remaley; his great grandchildren, Cole, Kacey Zeiser and Autumn Remaley; and his siblings, Kenny Dengler and Verna Beers. He is also survived by many nieces & nephews.

Viewing was held on Saturday, May 25th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ebenezer United Church of Christ (7293 Decatur St, New Tripoli, PA 18066). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 25th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
