Doris LaForce Obituary

The memory of Doris LaForce of Newport, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 1, 2025 at the age of 88, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Schumacher and Dorothy Schumacher (Wenrich); her spouse Russell D. LaForce; and her brother Ronald Schumacher. She is survived by: her children, Rodger LaForce (Eileen) of Harrisburg, Randall LaForce of Harrisburg, Rochelle Hartman of Harrisburg and Renee Dymond (Troy) of Shippensburg; her grandchildren, Mylissa Ramsey, Jacob, Jay, Jared Pegnetter, Chelsea and Allison Hartman; and her great grandchildren, Colton, Emelia and AvaMae Ramsey.

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Highland Presbyterian Church (11 Church Rd, Newport, PA 17074). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 8th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
